Build a short quote for the work, using saved items where they help. Read it as the customer will see it, then preview the PDF before issuing.
Choose the work type, customer and site, then link the quote you just created. Check everything before saving.
Use the groups that make sense for this job. Check each caption and any saved date, time or location. If that information was not captured, InvoQuill leaves it blank.
Add the expense in the currency you paid and attach the receipt if you have one. Enter a journey yourself or review a recorded trip. For a rate of 45p per mile, enter 0.45.

Use your bank or payment provider to confirm the money arrived. If InvoQuill suggests a match from a statement, check the invoice yourself. Record the payment, then create a receipt from the saved payment.
